These images of Comet 108P/Ciffreo were collected in a hazy sky at the beginning of morning twilight when the comet was magnitude 17.9, 213 million miles from Earth and had a very faint tail greater than 0.01 degrees long at a position angle of 227 degrees from the comet coma. Comet 108P will be at perihelion in it's 7.23 year orbit in September 2021 when it will be 153 million miles from the Sun. The comet will make it's close approach to Earth in December 2021 when it will only be 90 million miles from the Earth. The comet may brighten to magnitude 15 from September to December 2021.
