Comet 366P/Spacewatch was recently recovered as P/2018 F2 and its orbit showed that it was the observed comet P/2005 JN. So because it has been observed in the past it has been given the official designation of 366P. 366P made its close approach to Earth on April 7 when it was 131 million miles from Earth. It reaches perihelion on July 21 when it will be 212 million miles from the Sun in its 6.54 year orbit. In this 3 image GIF it is 132 million miles from Earth and magnitude 18.9, about as bright as it will get unless it decides to surprise us Earthlings.
