Description:
I was finally able to venture out to a dark sky site and properly image Comet Wirtanen. This image was made of 115 twenty second exposures taken with a Canon 80D and a Canon 200 mm f/2.8L II lens. (ISO 1600, f/3.5). Stacking was done in Nebulosity on the nucleus of the comet. At this time, the comet is about magnitude 4.5. A very faint tail is visible at the 11 o'clock position.
