These images of Comet 4P/Faye were acquired just before morning twilight. Comet 4P was magnitude 14.9, 219 million miles from Earth, had a 20" coma and a 0.052 degree long tail at position angle 250 degrees from the comet coma. The comet will be at perihelion in it's 7.48 year orbit in September 2021 when it will be 150 million miles from the Sun. The comet will make it's close approach to Earth in December 2021 at only 87 million miles when it may brighten to magnitude 10. If you like you can compare the images of Comet 4P/Faye that I collected on 20 May 2021 in the morning twilight that I posted several days ago with these images collected before morning twilight.
