In these images Comet C/2018 A6 (Gibbs) was 335 million miles from Earth and about magnitude 16. Comet Gibbs has a short broad tail to the lower right of the coma. The comet was only 13 degrees above the southern horizon and the gif looked better with negative images. Comet Gibbs will make it's close approach to Earth on March 16 when it will be 253 million miles from Earth. Comet Gibbs will reach perihelion in it's 60 year orbit on July 14 when it will be 280 million miles from the Sun. The comet should reach about magnitude 14 at its brightest. With a 60 year orbit I am not sure why it has not been given a Periodic Comet designation. The 4 gif images, each 5 minutes long, cover 35 minutes of the comet's life.
