Description:
In these images Comet C/2018 U1 (Lemmon) was magnitude 15.2, had a 19 arc second wide coma, a tail at least 0.02 degrees long at a position angle of 20 degrees from the coma and was 387 million miles from the Earth. The comet will be at perihelion in it's orbit in November 2021 at 464 million miles from the Sun, it's close approach to Earth was in June 2021 at 385 million miles when it brightened to magnitude 15.
