Description:
In these images Comet C/2019 L3 (ATLAS) was magnitude 11.4, had a Coma at least 0.016 degrees wide, a tail at least 0.033 degrees long at position angle 308 degrees from the coma and was 419 million miles from Earth. The comet will reach perihelion in it's orbit in January 2022 when it will be 330 million miles from the Sun. The comet will make it's close approach to Earth in January 2022 at 239 million miles. The comet may brighten to magnitude 10 in January 2022.
