Description:
Comet C/2020 M3 ATLAS imaged on October 12, 2020 with a large and gaseous coma of about 20 arc minutes enveloping a more dusty central condensation and a short 4-minute tail to the northeast. At magnitude 8.5 it will continue to increase in brightness and size until its maximum in November.
