Description:

Comet C/2021 A10 is making its close approach to Earth on February 10 at about 53 million miles, it is above the ecliptic plane at about a 40 degree angle pointing away from the Sun relative to Earth. The comet has brightened to magnitude 18 and will become fainter as it moves away from Earth toward its perihelion in March 2021. In these images the comet was magnitude 18.3 and 55 million miles from Earth with a very short tail NW of the coma. The images had to be short due to the comet moving at about 4 degrees per day across Earths skies.
