Description:

Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS) continues to fade as it moves away from the Sun and Earth. The comet is now magnitude 13.3 with a 1.5 arc minute wide coma and a tail that is 1.2 arc minutes long at a position angle of 273 degrees from the comet coma. The comet is still the second brightest comet in the northern hemisphere, 29P/Schwassmann-Wachmann is the brightest at about magnitude 12.
