Description:
My first (but not last) look at Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan-ATLAS), a 10 sec exposure with my SeeStar S50 and then it disappeared behind trees. It'll be getting higher and staying up longer all month...look to the West after sunset, to the right of the bright planet Venus. BTW, if you miss it this go-around, it'll be back in 80,000 years -- what's known as a "Long Period Comet."
