Description:
After several nights of clouds, I was able to observe comet C/2023 A3 over Pikes Peak and Garden of the Gods on a gloriously-clear night. The comet was visible to my naked eye and had a long, straight tail. Several of my shots showed hints of the anti-tail. I was able to image it all the way to the ridgeline. The foreground was illuminated by the nearly-full moon rising behind me.
