Description:
Comet C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS taken remotely imaged from Spain on the evening of October 17, 2024. This “close-up” image covers a 6°x6° section of the sky, equivalent to about 12 lunar diameters, and reveals considerable detail in both the tail and, notably, the anti-tail, despite interference from moonlight (Full Moon!) and the glow of the horizon at dusk.
