Description:
Comet C/2025 R2 (SWAN) was imaged as it moved past Messier 16 at an apparent distance of approximately one degree at 21:00 EST on October 17, 2025. Imaging was accomplished from my backyard in Yorktown, Va. Twenty-four frames at 20 seconds each were taken with each filter (L, R, G, B). Processing was accomplished with PixInsight using workflow methods from AdamBlockStudios - Comet Academy.
