Description:

On the morning of April 18 Comet C/2025 R3 (PANSTARRS) was magnitude 4.8 with a coma 10' wide and a tail longer than 10 degrees full of knots blowing in the Solar wind. The 3 image picture with each image a different field of view taken with different equipment show the knots of debris erupted of the surface of the comet in the image to the left, the knots in the tail farther from the comet coma being dispersed as the Solar wind blows the tail to the left in the middle image and then the Solar wind twisting the dispersed tail left and then right in the wide field of view image on the right. The white lines outline the twisting tail in the WFOV image and the marks for image 1 on the left and image 2 in the middle are marked in the WFOV image showing how long each of those images are in WFOV
