Description:

Comet C/2025 T1 (ATLAS) has now moved into the Sun's bright evening glare as observed from Earth. The comet is 208 million miles from Earth on the other side of the Sun as observed from Earth. The comet is 126 million miles from the Sun as it now moves away from the Sun and Earth in its orbit. In these images the comet was magnitude 10.8 and only 3.5 degrees above the horizon in the evening twilights orange glow, not much to look at in a small telescope. The comet continues to be brighter than the magnitude predictions, 6 times brighter than expected on this evening.
