Description:

Comet C/2015 V2 (Johnson) on 2017 May 22. Composite of 13 3-minute exposures tracked on the comet motion. North is up. The plasma tail is very faint to the south. The dust tail is nearly sunward : it will soon look like an antitail when the Earth crosses the comet orbital plane.
