Comet C/2016 N4 Master on it's 3rd night crossing the background glow of the Andromeda Galaxy is in the western region of M31 just above the double nucleus at the center of M31. The Andromeda Galaxy is the largest galaxy in our local group with about one trillion stars. In about 4.5 billion years our Milky Way Galaxy and the Andromeda Galaxy are expected to collide and merge. The inset attempts to show the comet a little better.
