Comet C/2023 A3 (Tsuchinshan–ATLAS) Two Trees Observation Area Cottonwood, Arizona images by: Larry Hubble Member of the Astronomers of Verde Valley, AZ The first image was taken on Sunday Oct.13, 2024. The Second image Monday Oct.14, 2024. On the first night, there was an 81% lit Moon. On the second night it was 89%. Comet at +0.5 magnitude on the 14th Camera Image: wide field Canon EOS R5 100-500 RF-L lens @ 100mm single sub 10s @ f5.6 800iso Telescope image: Williams Optics 102mm APO refractor w/reducer, @591mm auto-guided on the stars 120s X 13 sub frames, calibration frames-flats, dark flats, & darks
