Description:

This collage of my photos shows five of seven naked eye comets I have seen. The first one was Mrkos in 1957 (I didn't have a camera at age 10) and Halley in 1986, which I did have a nice photo of but it has been lost. The photos are to scale and unlike many astro photos these days, they are similar to what the comets actually looked like.
