Description:

Comet Olbers continues to be a beautiful photographic subject as it heads out of the inner solar system. Here is a deep shot of this comet shining brightly along side the galaxy M64 on the lower right. The comet has a huge yellow dust fan pointing upwards from the head, and a thin gossamer blue gas tail to the left. It is fading now, we can only expect it to get much dimmer in the next months.
