Description:
Comet: f/2.0, ISO 2000, stacked twelve 8 second exposures using ASTAP Foreground shot at same time: f/2.0, ISO 2000, single 20 second exposure Images processed and composited in Photoshop. With the comet still at magnitude 4.3 and the moon below the horizon, the comet was easily photographed with a simple DSLR setup. Sky & Telescope's recent graphic showing the comet's progress in the sky night by night gave me the incentive to plan the session.
