Description:
Comet Tsuchinshan-ATLAS as photographed through a Sony a6000 with a Sigma Len set at 100mm. The location is Blue Canyon Nyack Airport in Emigrant Gap, CA at about 6000 feet elevation. The view is to the west overlooking the broadside of the Airstrip, which also is home to the Sacramento Valley Astronomical Society Observatory. The open area maintained for the airstrip and the elevation make for very good astronomical viewing.
