Description:

This is a wide-field view of Copernicus (93 km) and Eratosthenes (60 km). At the very top of the image is Pytheas (20 km). Moving south, we encounter the Montes Carpatus. Southwest of Copernicus lies Reinhold (48 km) and Reinhold B (24 km). The dark deposits southeast of Copernicus are thought to be of volcanic origin. The large-ish crater at centre-bottom is Gambart (25 km).
