Description:
With a bit of imagination, we like calling this 'The Cygnus Charging Lion Nebula". According to Simbad, there are two Lynds Dark Nebula in this image, numbers 877 and 880. This image was created from 33 hours of Narrowband and 9 hours of RGB and subsequently processed in PixInsight. The image was the collaborative work Walt Lickteig and Steve Timmons.
