Description:
Note: Capella is the bright star to upper left. A short integration of images with a 200mm f/4 lens revealed something quite unexpected: there appeared to be no visible coma or nucleus, just an offset ghostly whisp of tail (dust) material away from the predicted position from Stellarium (though the ephemeris might need an update). This was an untracked image from a static tripod consisting of a stack of 1s subframes at 1600 ISO, total stack exposure 5m 46s.
