26” f/15 Clark refractor/ iPhone SE

Description:

This is a screenshot of a video I made at the eyepiece of the 26” refractor at Leander- McCormick observatory in a night of excellent seeing. We had a 7mm eyepiece and 2x Barlow in place giving about 3250x. The star which had an angular separation between 0.2”-0.3” was split easily! The video is fascinating to watch as well as it shows the seeing disk/speckle pattern with the two components appearing in and out like two yellowish eyes!
