Description:

Me and my husband planned to capture this event for quite a long time. He is always my inspiration for amateur astronomy and a pro who is doing this for a while, whereas this was my first total eclipse to photograph. We planned in warm west and ended up in the snow and cold weather of Vermont. So, we decided to update our plan accordingly and choose a ski resort to park out there from the morning and stay there until the end. Even though the morning sky was spotless as soon as the eclipse started some light cloud also started to fly in which forced us to update and change all the camera settings at the very last moment and keep changing it throughout the totality. Nonetheless it was an out-of-the-world experience which I will never forget and got to capture some nice shots.
