Description:

When the Moon is crescent, we can see an attractive astronomical phenomenon: The Earthshine. Earthshine is a faint shine on the dark side of the Moon, which stems from the reflection of sunlight from the Earth. The best time to see the Earthshine is the 1-5 day period before or after the new Moon, when the Moon is crescent. In this photo you see the Earthshine and two stars near the Moon. Taking photographs of the Earthshine might be fascinating, because in such photos we may see a more different view than the other photos of the Moon.
