The Eastern Veil is the brightest component of the Veil Complex and contains several sections. Although relatively faint, the Veil Complex can be resolved at a dark site with a large aperture telescope enhanced with an OIII filter. The HaRGB image is 4 hours of exposure using narrowband filters in light polluted skies. The Hubble palette which maps SII to Red, Ha to Green, and OIII to blue was used to produce the vivid colors.
