Description:

Image captured in Alexandria Virgina. 2400 light years away Captured over 3 nights 9.6 hours of light frames. Hi all, I had dropped out of astronomy due to family reasons for many years. My mother passed away and I took care of my now 99-year-old grandmother. And I no longer had time for Astrophotography. But for the past two years have gotten back into it. I looked online and found some photos I sent Sky&Telescope all the way back in 2011. And can't believe I had vacated my passion for so long. I am so happy to have returned after all these years and being able to submit another photo. thank you, Kurtis,
