Description:

The so-called Soul Nebula (also known with the catalog abbreviations IC 1848 or W5) is a diffuse nebula associated with an open cluster of young and hot stars of great mass, visible in the constellation of Cassiopeia, towards the border with the Giraffe. It is one of the areas where star formation is most active. IC 1848 is also known by a second common name, the Embryo Nebula, which I personally prefer given its pareidolia-like resemblance to a supine fetus.
