Encounter between comet C/2022 QE78 (ATLAS) and supernova 2022acko in spiral galaxy NGC 1300 in constellation Eridanus. Zoom on comet C/2022 QE78 at magnitude 18 at left. Encounter with NGC 1300 at right ; supernova 2022acko (arrowed) is at magnitude 16.4 V. Stack of 4 exposures of 2-minutes. North is up.
