Description:

The Flame Nebula & Star Alnitak Imaged by most every Astrophotographer every season. Usually out shadowed "only by name" by the remarkable formation of the well-known Horse Head Nebula. But is a truly beautiful formation as well. I edited, not using any HDR (PI) or lum enhance (PI) or any other fine detail enhancement. This kept its brilliance- at the loss of focus and detail. But I love the illuminating glow this formation gives off.
