I was wondering if anybody that saw the Eclipse at Glendo had the same visual experience as I did.
When the eclipse went total in addition to the Corona there were several ray like apparations emminating from the edge of the moon. They were faint white. The longest was virtical with progressively shorter rays on adjacent sides with no rays that I recall on the side. There were smaller rays on the surface closer to the horizon. Another phenomena was the appearance of light whispy clouds that were not visable until total eclipse. (did not obsure the eclipse). The sky was also grey colored not black. There is a drawing of the 1878 eclipse that shows some of these rays. I am curious what the cause of these are as they did not appear to move or change shape or brightness during the eclipse.
