Description:
Gegenschein and Zodiacal Band Taken 10/3/2021 @ 130AM MDT in Nathrop Colorado at 7640 feet elevation . I used the SkyWatcher Pro mount and Canon Ra , Rokinon 16 mm F/2.8 for the Gegenschein and Zodiacal band. The Nathrop site is very dark. The Gegenschein and Zodiacal Band were visible to the naked eye just under the Great Square of Pegasus. This was the first time I had clearly seen the Gegenschein. It does take some effort to find it, but is a sight that not very many have viewed.
