Description:

TODAY to all sky enthusiasts, I BLOW these colorful "streamers" made of real stars. Shapes and colors which, together with the mythological characters of the sky, make the starry sky a true Celestial Carnival. Here are the 25 most colorful corners of the Cepheus constellation: single, double and triplet stars, all photographed by making them dance in the eyepiece field to better capture their intense chromatic nuances. A visual technique with a beautiful photographic result, of which the poet Filippo Zamboni made a real poetic manifesto: «The stars, opening their wings of colours, [...] make a colorful whirlwind, a surprising game, [...] like a spectrum without a prism; belts of Venus [...] windings, orbits of light [...], spirals that yearn to become stars again». They are all single shots presented in a single colorful mosaic, - the first of many others - in which, based on the shape of the stars, it can be deduced whether they were alone, in pairs or multiples in the eyepiece. With Filippo Zamboni their systematic recovery is covered in poetry, it becomes a reason to talk about literature, a seductive invitation to spectroscopy and an original way to contemplate the sky in the infinite shades of the stars that inhabit it. After many thoughts, ideas and puns, the name I chose to define these "dancing stars" is Ghirigori, italian poetic term for Scribbles: in addition to being the first thing they remember, the term is able to suggest the lightness of their contemplation and the playful aspect of their recovery.
