Description:
Gold Butte National Monument contains this area of weird wind sculpted rock formations called "Little Finland" (who knows what the name refers to). It's not an easy place to get to being at the end of 20 miles of challenging desert dirt roads. It was worth it. This single exposure shot was 30 seconds but I lit the foreground for only 5 seconds to avoid blurring the rocks.
