Description:

Antares the fifteenth brightest star of the sky. It lives its last phases of its life as a star and in this stage, it has a radius equal to 700 times as larger as the Sun's radius, resulting in an amazing luminosity of 75000 times the Sun's luminosity. In this photo, two globular star clusters can be seen, as well.
