Description:
As I watched the spectacular towering curtains shimmer and slide more quickly, I adjusted my camera to take an image every 2 s instead of 5 s. The distant green glow of the auroral corona became more visible at this time. Normally it was overwhelmed by the red color, becoming yellowish.
