The image is a composite of two images. The foreground was taken on December 225, 2021 at approximately 8 PM from my backyard in Strawn, Texas. The background was taken on June 17, 2021, also from my backyard.
Equipment:
I used the Canon EOS Ra camera and 50 mm lens. The camera has a 30.3 megapixel size. The ISO was set at 1600 for both of the images forming the composite. The exposure time for the foreground image was about 2 seconds (manually taken in bulb mode), and 30 seconds for the background. No filters were used for the image.
Description:
The foreground image is of four young adults looking down at their phones, with the glow of their screen illuminating their faces. The background is of the Milkyway.
