Description:
Planetary nebulae are the remains of stars. The name "planetary nebula" comes from the first observations of these objects, sometimes having a circular aspect. The colors observed from the various elements that emit more or less ionized each in a very specific wavelength, mainly Hydrogen and Oxygen. Helix nebula is considered one of the closest to Earth, only 700 light years away.
