Location of Photo:

Tehran-Iran

Date/Time of photo:

February 2021

Equipment:

To take this photo I used my 70 mm apochromatic refractor and Canon 6D mark II. I also used sky adventurer pro to track the nebula for 30 hours (25 hours H-alpha, 7 hours OIII and 8 hours SII). Postprocessing was performed using Adobe PS, Imagesplus and Adobe LR,

Description:

This complex nebula consists of emission, reflective and dark nebulas. The horsehead nebula, a well-known dark nebula, along with prominent flame nebula creates a spectacular view in this region. This picture is processed in popular hubble palette. The yellow regions consists of both hydrogen and sulfur spectrums whereas green parts are mainly hydrogen alpha. The OIII captured a little photons mainly from flame nebula and therefore there is not considerable blue color in the image.
