The image includes over 7 hours of exposures with an 8” LX200 ACF OTA and an ASI2600MC camera, using three different filters (Antila ALP-T & Triband RGB Ultra, and Optolong L-PRO), a CEM40 mount, ASIAIR+, and ASI17mmm mini and OAG for guiding, processed in Astro Pixel Processor and Photoshop.
Description:
This is a star forming region in Sagittarius, east of the more often imaged Lagoon nebula, which includes emissions and reflection nebulas such as IC 1274 and IC 1275, as well as molecular clouds. East is to the left and north is up. I hope you enjoy reflecting on the wonders in this image!
