Description:
IC 342 (The Hidden Galaxy), one of the closest spiral galaxies beyond our Local Group. IC 342 is extremely difficult to observe because it sits behind dense regions of Milky Way dust, thus its light is heavily dimmed and reddened before it reaches us. This RGB image is the result of nearly 10 hours of data, taken with my own gear from my backyard in Wincrange, Luxembourg.
