Description:
06/21/2023 After 3 weeks of cloudy nights, we finally had a break last night. I found myself a little rusty setting up my gear! First light of my L-Extreme narrowband filter, one of my Father’s Day gifts! I tested it out on IC 5146, The Cocoon Nebula. Even through my Bortle 7, light polluted area, it performed amazingly well and really brought out the stars in that section of the sky. ___________________________________________________________ IC 5146, The Cocoon Nebula Distance 3,262 light years away.
