Description:

“oh my God! -- it's full of stars!"! - (2001 : A Space Odyssey by Arthur C Clarke) Under clear skies, but the usual poor seeing conditions, I did battle with my arch enemy…the city streetlamp in front of my building. Using a large TV cardboard box to block most of the light, I managed to pull out a decent image of IC 5146, The Cocoon Nebula. This is the best image of IC 5146 that I’ve ever gotten, but I was even MORE impressed with how many stars came though! 980x5 second subs @ 250 Gain 50 Flats 50 Dark Flats 30 Darks Captured with NINA
