Description:

A fun shot of IC443, The Jellyfish Nebula in Gemini. This 3.5 hour exposure at f/1.9 on an 11" EdgeHD SCT with Hyperstar does look like an aquarium specimen! I used RC-Astro's StarXTractor to remove stars (and unfortunately a lot of civilizations) which lets you focus on the dense yet delicate mesh of filamentary clouds making up this supernova remnant.
