Description:
The heart of the Heart Nebula (also known as IC 1805 or Sh2-190), located about 7500 light-years away in the constellation Cassiopeia, consists of a small cluster of stars at its center that "illuminates" it, giving it its heart-like shape. This open cluster, known as Melotte 15, contains a few bright stars almost 50 times the mass of our Sun and many other fainter stars.
