Description:

Jupiter is just past opposition right now and very high in the sky, which makes it a great target to photoghraph right now. On Sunday the 1st of March we had a nice clear night so I managed to get a number of images of Jupiters moon Io transiting. The above photo was one of the last pictures I took after Io had moved off of the face of jupiter still leaving its shadow, and a bonus was the Great Red Spot was also visable.
